Today Benjamin is three! He is SO excited. Tonight we are going to McDonalds to celebrate. He LOVES the Playplace there.

Benjamin's Birthday

Tomorrow is Benjamin's (my little brother) 3rd Birthday. We are going to McDonalds to have a little party for him. He is SO excited!!!!

Benjamin is all about Blue's Clues these days, so his cake is going to be a Paw Print. My Mom is going to make it. Isn't she wonderful?!?

Jackie and Joseph (my other siblings) have been trying to get Benjamin all excited about the presents. Benjamin is still looking foward to the cake, though... He's all about the cake this year! Who knows why????

Last Saturday we went to vist some of my Mom's family, so that they could have a little B-day party for Ben too. They live about 3 hours away, you see. We went to my Aunt Shannon and Uncle Ronnie's cabin up in the woods. Ben loved it! Well, all except losing his new soccer ball to a hill. He just set it down for a moment and there it went! Down, down, down....... But don't worry! There is a happy ending to this story! My Aunt and Uncle found the ball after we left, so Ben can have his ball when we see them again. He's pretty excited about that!

Ok, yesterday I went and mowed for my Grandparents. They gave me $20.00 for it. So, that brings my Basketball camp money to: $24.20 !!!!! Tomorrow I should be getting $15, and on Saturday $7 more, if not more! I also have about $15 more that my parents owe me for babysitting. So, that's the up date on the Bball money.

Today we went and played handbells at a nursing home. It was OK.....

The Review


Bryan Davis has most definitely comfirmed himself a true, one in-a-million author. His most recent book, Beyond the Reflections Edge, is proof of his magnificent talent. Beyond the Reflections Edge will have you crying on one page, jumping for joy on the next, and feeling as if you are sharing emotions with the main characters! It is one of the most action-packed books I have ever read. I would unquestionably refer this spectacular book to anyone and everyone! In one word: "WOW!!!"

Merlin (and other things!)

OK, my computer isn't working right, so I can't post a picture right now, but I thought that I would tell you that I have named my hamster Merlin. I will post a picture of it as soon as possible.

I am starting to earn money for basketball camp. So far, I have about $4.00..... Well, it's a start!!!

One of my favorite authors, Donita K. Paul is coming out with her last book of the series she is currently working on. The series, The Dragon Keeper Chronicles, is totally awesome! The last book in the series, DragonLight, will be coming out June 17, 2008. If you want to add some adventure to your reading life, you should read these books! I mean, you won't be able to wait to get your hands on the next one! I would definitely recommend that you get all your work done before you start reading this book, because if you don't all you will be doing will be reading and reading and reading! Then when you finish the book, this is what you will be doing: and this is what you will be thinking: WHAT HAPPENS!?!?!?!?!

I am going to be starting what I call Funny Smiley of the Week . Pretty much all it is, is that I'm going to be finding a smiley I think is pretty funny, and posting on here once a week. This will be starting in the next paragraph!

So, it's April Fools. I figured I would put one of my favorite April Fool's jokes on my blog! My parents have done this one on us a number of times, and we (that is, my siblings and I) have pretty much fallen for it EVERY time !!!

Here's the joke:

My Mother or Father bursts into the room in the morning, waking me up, and pretty much shouts , "Katie!!! Katie!!! There's a bear outside!!! There's a bear outside!!!" So, I jump out of the bed, rush to the window, and look franticly around trying to spot the thing. "Where is it?!?" I ask, and then (of course!) "APRIL FOOLS!!!!!" I fall for it almost anytime!!!! Grrrr.....

Well, right now I am watching Biggest Loser, so I am going to stop writing and start watching!!!!
